Post art to a Realm gallery

Share fan art on an Atlas title, series or character page, credit the artist, say if AI made it, and find it in the Comics and Anime galleries.

The Comics and Anime Realms each have an Art Gallery of member art. Art is posted from the thing it's of β€” an Atlas title, series or character β€” so every piece is filed under its subject and easy to find. For uploads in general (moderation, who sees what), see Galleries.

Before you start

  • A Waypoint account.
  • The image as a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF.
  • Art you made or have the right to share. No explicit content.

Post a piece

  1. Open what it's of

Find the title, series or character in the Atlas β€” the Comics Atlas or the Anime Atlas.
  2. Open Post art

On that page, press Post art to open the form.
  3. Choose the image

Choose the file under Image, or paste an image straight into the form.
  4. Describe it

Add a Caption (optional) and Tags (comma-separated, optional) β€” fanart, sketch, colored β€” so people can find it.
  5. Credit the artist

If someone else made it, put their name in Artist credit (if not you).
  6. Say if AI made it

Tick This art is AI-generated if it was. AI art carries a badge in the gallery.
  7. Upload

Press Upload. It reads Uploading… while the image is checked and saved.

Check it worked

The piece shows in that Realm's Art Gallery, filed under its subject. Open the gallery from the Realm's rail (Art Gallery under Make in Anime, under Reference & community in Comics).

Browse a gallery

Filter by All, Titles, Characters or Originals (art that belongs to no existing title, made in the Anime Studio or Cel), search with Search captions and tags…, or press a tag to see everything that shares it.

Made in the Anime Studio or Cel?

Work made in the Anime Studio or Cel is shared to the gallery from the tool itself, with its own share step, rather than through Post art.

If something's off

I can't see Post art
You need to be signed in. It appears on title, series and character pages in the Atlas, not on the gallery itself.
β€œUpload failed. Try again.” or β€œCouldn't save the image.”
Check the file is a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF and try again. Uploads are screened, and one that doesn't pass isn't posted.
