Find anime cons and say you're going

Browse anime cons by month or on the map, narrow by state, size and distance, open a con's page, and answer Going or Interested to put it on your calendar.

The Con Calendar lists anime cons across the US. Anyone can browse it; answering needs an account.

Before you start

  • Nothing to browse. To answer and see who you follow is going: a Waypoint account.

Find a con

  1. Open the calendar

    In the Anime Realm's rail, choose Con Calendar.

  2. Narrow it down

    Use Month, State, Size and Distance. A distance (Within 100 miles of me, say) asks your browser where you are; nothing is stored.

  3. List or map

    List groups cons by month; Map shows a pin per con — pick one to see it.

  4. Open a con

    Press its name. Its page has the dates, where it is, its size, who it's for, the official site, and news from the organizers.

Say you're going

  1. Answer

    Under Are you going?, press Going, Interested or Can't make it.

  2. See who else

    People you follow: lists the ones going or interested.

Check it worked

The calendar card reads You're going (or You're interested). The con is on your calendar and its feed — an interested con as a maybe; Can't make it takes it off.

Dates TBA

A con that hasn't announced its dates shows Dates TBA, often with when it usually runs, and stays off calendars. Say you're going or interested and you'll hear when its dates are announced — and when its organizers post news. Dates come from each con's own site; check there before you book.

Add to calendar on a con's page downloads it for any calendar app, signed in or not. Plan a cosplay for it opens the con in the Cosplay Realm.

If something's off

“No cons match. Try a wider month, state, size or distance.”
Loosen a filter, or set Distance back to Any distance.
“Couldn't get your location, so distance is off.”
Allow location for this site in your browser, or filter by State instead.
The answer buttons are greyed out
The con has ended or been cancelled.
“Not yet checked against its site”
Staff haven't confirmed these details yet. Check the con's own site before booking.
