Draft a block for several people at once

Draft the same block for everyone you sew for — your own profiles and the measurements your group cosplay shared — and print them as one run.

Cosplayers who sewUpdated October 11, 2026

Sewing the same piece for a whole group? Pattern Forge drafts one block for each person from their own numbers, lays the patterns out together, and prints them as one run.

Before you start

  • Plus or Pro.
  • A profile for each person in the Measuring Room, or group members who have shared their measurements with your group cosplay. Sharing is for members 18 and over, on both sides.
  1. Set up the block

Pick the block and its style, ease and seam allowance as usual (see part 1). They apply to everyone.
  2. Choose the people

Under several people, tick two or more — Your profiles, and anyone under Shared with … for each group.
  3. Check who's missing what

Anyone missing a measurement the block needs reads Missing … — skipped until it's measured.
  4. Draft

    Press Draft … patterns.

Check it worked

The patterns stack, each under its person's name, titled … — … people. They print, download and project as one run (see part 2).

If something's off

“Add a profile for each person you sew for…”
There's only one body to draft from. Add profiles, or ask your group to share their measurements from the group's page.
“Choose two or more people.”
A group run needs at least two.
“Skipped …: missing measurements this block needs.”
Those people are left out of this run until they measure what's missing.
A friend's shared measurements don't appear
They have to be an active member of the group, and both of you 18 or over.
