Review rules

Who can review whom, how marketplace reviews stay fair to both sides, replying, and the only reasons a review comes down.

EveryoneUpdated September 15, 2026

Reviews only work if they're honest and hard to game. These are the rules every review on Waypoint Realms follows β€” for sessions, GMs, shop products and marketplace deals.

Who can review

  • Sessions and GMs β€” people who had a confirmed seat, after the session happened.
  • Shop products β€” people who bought the product.
  • Marketplace deals β€” both sides. After a completed order the buyer reviews the seller and the seller reviews the buyer. After a completed trade, each of you reviews the other.

You review a person or a thing once. If you deal with them again, you can update your review until it's published.

Marketplace reviews are double-blind

So nobody can answer a review with a revenge review, neither side sees what the other wrote until both reviews are in, or 14 days after the deal completed β€” whichever comes first. Then both are published together.

  • You have 14 days from completion to leave your review. After that the window closes.
  • You can edit your review while it's private. Once it's published it can't be changed or deleted.
  • A seller's rating and reviews are public. A buyer's rating is shown only to members deciding whether to deal with them β€” a seller they've made an offer to, bought from, or traded with. It never appears on a public profile.

Replying

The person a review is about β€” the seller, the buyer, the host, the GM, the shop β€” can post one public reply to it, and edit it later. You can't remove a review about you. A calm reply that says what happened reads far better than silence.

When a review comes down

Never for being negative. A one-star review that's about the deal stays up. A review β€” or a reply β€” is removed only on one of these grounds:

  • Not about the transaction. A review has to be about the deal, the game or the session it's attached to β€” not about something else the person did, or someone else entirely.
  • Harassment or hate. Insults, slurs, threats or attacks on who someone is. Criticism of what they did is fine.
  • Personal information. A home address, phone number, email, full legal name or anything else that identifies or locates someone who didn't publish it.
  • Conflict of interest. Reviewing yourself, a friend's shop you have a stake in, or a competitor β€” or trading reviews for anything.
  • Provably false. A statement of fact that the record shows is untrue β€” "never shipped" on an order with delivery confirmed. Opinions can't be false.

If you think a review breaks one of these rules, use Report review under it. A moderator reads every report.

If your review was removed

You're told which rule it broke. If you disagree, you can appeal: open Support and choose Appeal a decision. A person reviews every appeal. More in Reporting & blocking and our commitments.
