Our commitments
The promises below describe how Waypoint Realms works today, and each one is backed by the product itself, not only by this page. A commitment here is weakened only with at least 90 days' notice, and every change gets a dated entry at the bottom of the page.
How prices and fees change
A fee increase gets reasonable notice before it takes effect.
It is scheduled, not switched on. The console sets a minimum notice period and refuses an increase dated any sooner, and decreases can apply straight away.
When a fee is going up, the people it applies to are told the day it's scheduled, by email and in the app.
To the sellers in that lane rather than a banner for everyone. The email goes out even if you've turned that notification off or get a daily digest.
An approved GM listing or a published Marketplace listing keeps the fee rate it started with for as long as it's listed.
A new membership or Hub price never applies part-way through a period you've already paid for.
It can apply only from a renewal, as the Terms of Service set out (section 8): everyone it applies to is emailed first, with a link to cancel, at least 14 days ahead for a monthly plan and 30 for an annual one. A price we've stopped selling keeps working for the people on it until then.
Never behind a paywall
These stay free on every account. A feature on this list can't be moved behind a membership.
Messaging (voice and video calls aren't included), your profile, RSVPing, and exporting the data on your account.
A free account can RSVP to as many free sessions as it likes, and that allowance will never go down.
A new session posted more than 72 hours ahead can open to Pro members 24 hours first, which never changes how many sessions you can RSVP to or where anyone stands on a waitlist.
Downgrading never deletes a Circle or its history.
Lead more Circles than your plan covers and you choose which stay active; the rest become read-only, with everything in them still readable, until you upgrade, choose again or hand them on.
When a decision is about you
Every moderation decision about you or your content comes with a reason — and so does the answer to an appeal.
You can appeal a removed or hidden post, and a suspension. A person reads every appeal.
Content hidden automatically after reports tells you why, with a link to appeal.
Safety reports start ahead of appeals, and a membership never moves either one up the queue.
A review is never removed for being negative, and marketplace reviews are double-blind: neither side sees the other's until both are in or 14 days pass.
A review comes down only on a published ground — not about the deal, harassment or hate, personal information, conflict of interest, or provably false — and the person it's about can reply once.
An automatic check that stops a post or upload as you make it isn't a penalty: it says which rule it tripped, nothing is recorded against you, and you can ask a person to review it.
One exception: an image that appears to show the sexual abuse of a child is preserved and reported, as the law requires.

- 2026-10-29 — Changed: downgrading never deletes a Circle or its history. The promise that it never locks one is withdrawn: a Circle above the free limit can become read-only.
