Mobile App End User Licence Agreement

1. Your licence

Waypoint Realms LLC grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you obtained it from. The App is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted here.

2. What you may not do

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• Rent, lease, sell, sublicense or redistribute the App.
• Use the App to access Waypoint Realms in an automated way, or to build a competing service from data you obtain through it.
• Remove or obscure any notice of copyright, trade mark or other proprietary right.

3. Your account and conduct

The App is a way into the same account you use on the web. Everything in the Terms of Service about eligibility, acceptable use, purchases and termination applies to your use of the App without change. In particular, Waypoint Realms is used to arrange meetings between real people: the Code of Conduct is not decorative, and breaking it can end your access from every surface at once.

4. Purchases

Memberships bought inside the App are billed by the app store you bought them from, and are managed and cancelled there — not by us, and not by deleting the App or your account. Bookings, tickets and seats for real-world games and events are payments to organisers and venues for services delivered in person; those are handled through our payment processor and are governed by the Terms of Service.

5. Data on your device

The App stores your login on the device so you stay signed in, and may cache content for offline reading. It asks for location only when you use a feature that needs it, and for notification permission only when you turn notifications on. What we collect and why is set out in the Privacy Policy; signing out or deleting your account clears the credentials and device registrations held for you.

6. Warranty and liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. Our liability, and the limits on it, are as set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited under the law where you live.

7. Terms Apple requires

These apply to the App obtained from Apple’s App Store, and Apple requires them to be stated plainly:

• This agreement is between you and Waypoint Realms LLC only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the App, including product liability claims, failure to conform to a legal requirement, or claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce it against you.

8. Google Play

For the App obtained from Google Play, Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App. Your use of Google Play is additionally governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update this agreement; the version number above changes when we do, and material changes are presented in the App for acceptance. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Questions go to support@waypointrealms.com.
