Inviting people, and what you get for it
Your invite link, what happens when someone uses it, and the credits you earn once they actually turn up to a game.
Waypoint Realms only works if there are people to play with, and the people most likely to play with you are the ones you already know. Your invite link is on your connections page.
How it works
Share your link
Anyone who signs up through it is linked to you. You can share it anywhere β a group chat, a club noticeboard, the table you play at on Thursdays. They join
They get the normal signup. You are shown as the person who invited them, so they arrive with at least one connection instead of an empty account. They play
When they RSVP to a session and it is confirmed, the referral qualifies. You get credits
100 AI credits land in your balance β about a month of Adept-level AI Game Master play. You get a notification when it happens.
Why it pays on attendance, not signup
What you can see
Your connections page shows how many people have joined through your link and how many have played. You do not see anything private about them β if they join and never play, you see a count, not a name to chase.
Inviting someone to a specific game
Separate from your general link: on any session you are hosting or attending, you can invite a friend directly, and on a guild you can send an invite to join. Those go to people who already have an account β the referral link is for people who do not.
Fair use
- Invite people you know. Posting your link to strangers on a forum is not against the rules, but it is unlikely to earn anything, because they have to show up.
- Do not create accounts for other people. Referral activity is monitored, and a ring of accounts sharing a signup pattern earns nothing and risks all of them.
- You cannot refer yourself, and a second account will not qualify.
