LARP character & costume planner

Develop a LARP character, plan the costume, makeup and props around it, track XP, skills and awards between events, and print a character card.

On this page

A LARP character is not just a sheet — it is a sheet, a costume, a pile of props, and a progression that has to survive between events months apart. The Character & Costume Planner keeps all of that in one place, and it is private to you.

The LARP character and costume planner with a list of characters on the left and a selected character on the right, showing its faction, system and level and the Progression, Concept, Costume, Makeup, Props and weapons and Notes tabs.
One character, with its costume plan and its progression attached.

What it holds

  1. The character

Name, level and a one-line concept, plus faction, rules system, chapter and your member id with each org you play in — “ranger-scout of the borderlands” is more useful at an event than three paragraphs of backstory.
  2. The costume, makeup and props

Plan what the character looks like alongside who they are. The props on that list are the ones you'll need to make and get safety-checked.
  3. Progression

An XP ledger with its total, the skills you've bought and the awards and titles you've earned — the record of what your character can actually do.
  4. A printable card and a file

The details you need in play, on paper, without your phone, and Download JSON for the whole character as a file.
