Choosing your username

Your @username is your identity on Waypoint Realms — it appears on your profile, in messages, and anywhere you show up across the app. You pick it once when you join.

The rules

• 3–30 characters: letters, numbers, and underscores.
• It must be unique, and it's case-insensitive.
• Your display name (shown next to your handle) is separate and can be changed anytime under Profile.

Can I change it later?

Username changes come with a paid membership (Artisan or Master). On a paid plan you can change your handle once every 30 days, and your old handle is retired and reserved so no one else can take it. Free Apprentice accounts keep their original handle.
