Hiring a Game Master
Book a paid GM to run a game for your group — how it works, what it costs, and what happens if it does not.
Some people run games for a living, or for a bit extra. If your group wants someone to run a campaign — or a one-shot for a birthday, or a first session to teach everyone a new system — Game Masters lists members who do it.
Finding one
Each listing says what they run, whether it is online or in person, what they charge, and how long a session is. GM listings are reviewed by us before they go live, so what you are browsing has at least had a human look at it.
Reviews come from people who actually booked. A GM cannot delete a bad one.

Talk first
Message them about what your group wants — system, tone, how experienced everyone is, when you can play. The best GM for a table of nervous first-timers is not always the one with the most reviews.Book and pay
Payment goes through Waypoint Realms, then on to the GM. Your card details never reach them.Play
The session appears in your calendar like any other.Leave a review
Afterwards. It is the main thing the next group has to go on.
We take nothing
If a session does not happen
- The GM cancels — you are refunded.
- You cancel — the GM's stated policy applies. Read it before booking; it is on the listing.
- Something went wrong during the game — report it. A paid GM is held to the code of conduct like anyone else, and a GM who takes money and does not show loses their listing.
Is this the same as the AI Game Master?
No. The AI Game Master is software that runs a campaign for you, metered in credits. This is a person. They are good at different things: the AI is available at 2am on a Tuesday and never cancels; a human reads the room.
