Welcome to Waypoint Realms

What Waypoint Realms is — where local communities gather in person and stay connected between sessions — and the steps from sign-up to your first session.

Waypoint Realms is where local communities gather in person and stay connected between sessions — across six Realms: TTRPG, Board Games, LARP, Cosplay, Comics, and Anime. Real rooms, real people: discover sessions near you, RSVP, host your own, join a Circle around the things you love, build in Realms, and buy, sell, or trade gear in the Marketplace.

Getting set up

  1. Create your account

    Sign up with email or Google. You can browse sessions and venues without an account, but you'll need one to RSVP, message, or host.

  2. Claim your @username

    Your username is your permanent handle across Waypoint Realms. See Choosing your username.

  3. Look around

    That's all you need to browse sessions, Circles and venues. Nothing else is asked until you join something.

  4. RSVP to your first game

    The first time you RSVP (or post, or message), we ask for your date of birth and your ZIP code, so you only see games that are right for your age and near you. We also ask you to agree to our community Code of Conduct, which keeps tables welcoming. Each takes a moment, and you come straight back to the game.

  5. Tell us what you play (optional)

    After your first RSVP we'll offer to note your activities and availability, so we can suggest more sessions like it. You can skip it.

Jump right in

Once you're set up, head to Discover to see games on a map near you, or read Find & join a session.

What you can do

  • Find games on the map, filtered by activity and distance.
  • RSVP to sessions (with waitlists when they fill up).
  • Host your own sessions at a venue or your own table.
  • Join circles to chat, post in forums, and run group games.
  • Connect & message other players.
  • Explore Realms — a themed area per hobby. Tabletop first (TTRPG, board games, LARP), with cosplay, comics and anime alongside in early access.
  • Buy, sell, or trade gear with other members in the Marketplace, with the money held until the item arrives.
  • Run a campaign — with a human GM, an AI Game Master, or a GM you hire.
  • Keep track — your calendar gathers everything you have committed to, and saved searches tell you when a game that suits you appears.
