The LARP Realm
Event finding, outdoor spaces, factions, a character and kit planner, crafting notes and a safety reference.
On this page
The LARP Realm is built around the parts of live-action play that happen away from the field: finding an event that is actually running, knowing where you are allowed to run it, and turning up with the right kit.

Find & organize
- Event Finder — the session list filtered to LARP. LARP runs less often than a board game night, so it rewards an alert more than a browse: turn on area alerts for your region. See Find or host a meetup.
- Outdoor & Public Spaces — parks, fields, campgrounds and woods members use, with whether they can be rented. Find one and host there, or add one.
- Group & Faction Roster — your in-character group, its officers and ranks, and Call to muster for your sessions. See factions.
Prep
- Character & Costume Planner — the concept, the look, the XP, skills and awards, and a printable card. See the planner.
- Kit & Gear Checklist — what to pack, ticked off as you go. See Pack for a LARP.
Reference
- Prop & Weapon Crafting — step-by-step guides with diagrams for a boffer, foam armour and props. See Building LARP props & weapons.
- Safety & Rules Reference — the calls, consent tools and physical-safety basics most systems share. It is a starting point, not a rulebook: your event's own rules always win. See safety calls and Run a safety brief.
