Outdoor & Public Spaces is a directory of the parks, fields and woods members use for LARP — with whether each can be rented and what's already planned there.

Before you start

  • A Waypoint account, signed in.

Find a space

  1. Open the directory

In the LARP Realm's rail, under Find & organize, choose Outdoor & Public Spaces.
  2. Narrow it down

Tap a type — Park, Open field, Campground, Trail / woods, Beach, Event space or Other — or All. Tap Rentable only for spaces you can book, and pick a state from All regions.
  3. Open a space

Click a card. On a wide screen its details fill the column beside the list; on a narrower one the space's own page opens.

Check it worked

The details show the space on a small map with its address, whether it's Rentable, sessions Coming up here, and Booking: with a contact if it can be rented. Press Open this space › for its own page.

Host a session there

  1. Start the session

    Press Host a session here.
  2. Check the place

Organize a session opens with Hosting at … in place of the location, and the activity set to LARP. Add the title, date and time and seats as for any session (see Host your first session).
  3. Create it

    Press Create session.

Check it worked

The session uses the space's address and pin, and it shows under Coming up here on the space. As a faction officer, you can now rally your faction to it (see Call your faction to muster).

Know a spot that isn't listed? Add it.

If something's off

“No spaces match those filters.”
Tap All, turn off Rentable only and choose All regions.
I pressed Choose a different location by mistake
Go back to the space and press Host a session here again.
