Find or host a meetup from a Realm

Open the sessions near you already filtered to your Realm — a TTRPG table, a LARP event, a comic club — and host one of your own.

Meetups on Waypoint are sessions: a time, a place (or online) and a host. Several Realms open the session finder already filtered to their kind of game, so you start with the right list. Joining and hosting then work the same everywhere — see find and join a session and host your first session.

Before you start

  • A Waypoint account with your home area set, so “near you” means near you.

Find one

Each Realm's way in:

  • TTRPG: Find a table on the TTRPG Realm's home page opens Tables near you.
  • LARP: Event Finder, under Find & organize in the rail.
  • Comics: Comic clubs & meetups, under Reference & community in the rail.
  1. Open your Realm's finder

Use the link above for your Realm. The list opens already filtered to that kind of game.
  2. Look on the map or the list

Sessions near you show on a map and as a list. Change the distance or search by title to widen or narrow it.
  3. Open one and join

Open a session to see when, where and who's going, then join or RSVP as that page shows.

Check it worked

The session's page shows you as going, and it appears on your calendar.

Host one

  1. Start a session

In Comics, Start a comic club (Reference & community) opens a new session already set to comics. For any other kind of game, start a new session from Sessions.
  2. Fill in the details

Give it a title, time, place and how many can come, then publish. See host your first session for each field.

Let them come to you

Save a search, and new sessions of that kind near you arrive as alerts — see saved searches and alerts. LARP organisers can also host at a space from the Outdoor & Public Spaces directory.
