Bodies and goals: measure only what you need
Set up a body (or several), let What you can make tell you which measurements a piece or pattern still needs, read your list, and choose when old numbers get flagged.
- ~5 min
- New to it
- Part 1 of 4
The Measuring Room keeps your body's numbers for every Workshop tool. There are 38 of them, and you almost never need them all: scaling a helmet takes one; a fitted bodice about twelve.
Before you start
- A Waypoint account. The Measuring Room is free on every plan.

If something's off
- I pressed Clear by mistake
- Clear doesn't ask first. Measure it again, or Enter by hand.
- βA pair of measurements doesn't fit togetherβ
- Each is plausible alone, but not both together β one of those two shots was probably scaled wrong. Re-measure one with a tape.
- βOutside the usual range for this measurementβ¦β
- The usual cause is marking the wrong edge of the reference object. Retake it, or check with a tape.
