The Compendium: rules lookup at the table
Spells, magic items, conditions and feats from the D&D 5e SRD, searchable and filterable, so a mid-session rules question does not cost five minutes.
EveryoneUpdated August 28, 2026
The Compendium is a rules lookup you can use without leaving the table: spells, magic items, conditions and feats from the D&D 5e SRD, in one searchable place.

What is in it
- Spells β searchable, and filterable by school and by level. Each card shows school, components and casting time before you open it.
- Magic items β what it does and what it takes to use it.
- Conditions β the one you actually look up mid-fight, because nobody remembers exactly what restrained does.
- Feats β for levelling up between sessions.
SRD content only
The Compendium carries the System Reference Document β the portion of D&D 5e published for open use. Material from books outside the SRD is not here, and a search that comes back empty usually means the thing you are looking for is not SRD content rather than that the search failed.
Faster than a search engine mid-session
Filter first, then read. βEvocation, level 3β is a much shorter list than βfireball-ish spellsβ, and it works when the table's wifi does not love you.
Related lookups
Creature stat blocks live in the bestiary rather than here, and the tools for building a fight out of them are in NPCs, encounters & loot.
