Uatu the Watcher
Uatu
- The Watcher
- Public
Uatu belongs to the ancient Watchers, a race that vowed only to observe after their past interference doomed another civilization. Stationed in the Blue Area of the Moon, he was assigned to monitor Earth but repeatedly bent his oath, most famously trying to stop Galactus from consuming the planet. He has been tried by his people for these breaches. During Original Sin he was murdered and his eyes stolen, with Nick Fury taking up his role, though Uatu was later restored.
