Odin

Odin Borson

  • All-Father
  • No Dual Identity

Odin, son of Bor, is the ancient ruler of Asgard and one of the gods who helped shape the Ten Realms. He gave up an eye in exchange for wisdom, defeated his corrupted brother Cul and was worshiped across the Norse and Germanic world. As father to Thor and adoptive father to Loki, he has spent countless stories testing, punishing and guiding his children, while his yearly Odinsleep leaves Asgard vulnerable. Odin has died and returned several times and remains a towering, often stubborn presence over Asgard.

Powers and abilities

  • Odinforce: a near-limitless cosmic energy used for blasts, shields and reshaping matter
  • Godly physiology: immense strength, stamina and durability far beyond other Asgardians
  • Near immortality: lives for millennia and has returned from death more than once
  • Reality and time manipulation: with the Odinforce he can alter reality, bend time and resurrect the dead
  • Telepathy and sorcery: reads minds and wields vast mystical knowledge
  • Master warrior: an ancient battlefield veteran and strategist
  • Gungnir: his enchanted spear, one of the mightiest weapons in Asgard
