Kevin Plunder is the son of an English nobleman who brought him to the Savage Land, a prehistoric jungle hidden in Antarctica. After his father was killed, the boy was raised by the sabre-toothed tiger Zabu and grew up as Ka-Zar, the land's protector. He has often allied with the X-Men and other heroes, married the jungle adventurer Shanna and fathered a son. In recent years he joined the Agents of Wakanda, was resurrected through the Savage Land's life force, and briefly served Galactus.
