Jocasta was built by Ultron to be his mate, her mind patterned after the Wasp's brainwaves. Rejecting her creator's programming, she warned the Avengers about Ultron's plans and helped defeat him, then served alongside the team as a provisional member. She has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, even surviving for a while inside Iron Man's armor systems. She has since worked with the Mighty Avengers, taught at Avengers Academy and earned a place as a respected synthetic hero in her own right.
