Transparency

Transparency is a way of playing where players openly share their characters' secrets and plans out of character so others can help make the story happen.

In a transparent game, characters still keep secrets from each other, but players do not. You might read the other characters' sheets or talk through what you hope will happen before a scene, so people can play towards the big moments instead of stumbling past them. It is associated with Nordic-style larp and is usually set up in the pre-game workshop. Not every game plays this way, so check the player guide to see whether yours expects it.
