Lammie

A lammie is a small laminated card that stands for an in-game item, ability or effect, a term used mostly in UK larp.

A lammie (also spelt lammy) is a card, laminated so it survives outdoor play, that says what an item or effect is and does: a potion, a scroll, a coin purse or a special ability. Holding the lammie shows your character has that thing. The word is mostly British; in North American games similar cards are usually called tags or item cards. How lammies are issued, traded, stolen or used up varies between games, as does who checks them. If you find one on the ground, follow your game's rules on found items, and check your event's rules pack for how it handles them.
