Campaign
A campaign is an ongoing series of connected larp events sharing the same world, characters, and story, where choices and consequences carry forward from one event to the next.
A campaign larp runs across multiple events, sometimes spanning months or years. Rather than treating each game as a stand-alone story, a campaign tracks what happens between events: characters gain experience, factions shift in power, and the world changes in response to what players actually did. Your character's history matters, and decisions made at one event can shape what problems or opportunities appear at the next. This continuity is what makes campaign play feel different from one-shot larps. New players sometimes find the learning curve steep, since an established campaign may already have years of shared history. Most organising teams offer ways in for newcomers, such as starting characters, faction guides, or mentors who can help you find your footing without needing to know every past event by heart.
