Your Play log is your gaming record: plays you log by hand, and game sessions you attend, which log themselves.
Before you start
- The game on your shelf (see part 1) — you can only log games you've shelved.
Log a play
Start from the game
In My Games, hover the game's box on your Owned or Played shelf and press Log a play. The Play log opens with the form ready and the game chosen. (From your profile, choose Play log and press Log a play.)Fill it in
Check the Game and When (it starts at now). Set the Result — Not recorded, I won or I lost — and My score if you kept one; tick Co-op for a cooperative game.Who played (optional)
Type names in Who played? (comma-separated names) — up to 20, as plain text — and add any Notes (optional).Save it
Press Log play.
Check it worked
Fix or delete a play
Press Results on a play to change its result, score, players, co-op box and notes, then Save results. Delete shows only on plays you logged by hand; plays from sessions you attended stay, but their results can still be filled in.
Read your stats
Once there's a play, the top of the Play log shows Games played (and how many different games), Hours (estimated), Win rate — such as 67% from 4W / 2L, counting only plays with a result — and Top game. Until a play has a result, a Streak of weeks in a row shows in place of the win rate. Below are Play activity, the year in review, and Play again suggestions.
See who owns what you want
At the end of your Want to play shelf, a line names connections and Circle-mates who own those games — for example Kai owns Ember Vale and Hexfall — with ask the Oracle to deal one to open the Table Oracle. Add them to your table and their copies can be dealt.
If something's off
- Log a play is greyed out
- Your shelf is empty — Add a game to your shelf first, then log a play of it.
- There's no Log a play on a game's box
- Games on your Want to play shelf don't have it. Move the game to Owned or Played on its page, or choose it in the Play log's Game list.
- A session I went to isn't in the log
- Only attended sessions with a game attached log themselves. Log it by hand if it had none.
- My win rate counts fewer plays than I logged
- Plays with Not recorded are left out. Set a result with Results.
- My play won't save
- My score takes whole numbers only. Otherwise, try again in a moment.
