My Games is your shelf: what you own, what you want to play, and what you've played. The Table Oracle deals from it, and sessions playing your games are easier to find.

Before you start

  • A Waypoint account, signed in.
  • A few games in mind. There's no import from BoardGameGeek — you add games one at a time.

Add a game

  1. Open My Games

In the Board Games Realm's rail, choose My Games. On an empty shelf, press Add a game to jump to the search.
  2. Find it

In the search box (Search the catalog — e.g. Catan, D&D 5e), type part of the name and pick the game from the list.
  3. Say where it goes

Choose I own it, Want to play or Played. Tick Can teach if you could run a first game for others, or Want to learn.
  4. Add it

    Press Add to shelf.

Check it worked

It reads Added “…” to your shelf. and the game's box appears on its shelf.

Sort and filter your shelves

  1. Choose the shelves

The chips at the top — Owned · N, Want to play · N and Played · N — turn each shelf on or off. Played starts off; one shelf always stays on.
  2. Sort

Press Sort: Last played ▾ and choose Last played, Name, Weight or Recently added.
  3. Filter

Tap Can teach or Want to learn to show only those games.
  4. Look closer

Hover a game's box — or tap it on a phone — for players, time, weight and your plays, with Open game and Log a play.

Check it worked

Each shelf heading counts what it shows, such as Owned · 2 of 5 when a filter is on.

Change or remove a game

  1. Open its page

Press Open game on its box.
  2. Change it

In Your games, press Want to play, Own it or Played, and tick I can teach this or Want to learn. Changes save as you go.
  3. Or remove it

    Press Remove and confirm.

Next: log plays and use your shelf.

If something's off

“No match in the catalog — try a shorter name.”
The catalog doesn't have it yet. You can still host a session with a free-text title.
The Oracle never deals a game I own
Only board games are dealt; roleplaying systems on your shelf aren't. And it must be marked as owned, not Want to play or Played.
“Couldn't add that game. Try again.”
Try again in a moment; if it keeps failing, reload the page.
