Confirm your email
Posting, messaging and creating a listing wait until your email address is confirmed. What is held, what still works, and what to do if the link doesn't arrive.
On this page
When you create an account with an email and a password, we send a link to that address. Until you open it, Waypoint Realms can't be sure the address is yours, so a few things that put your words or your name in front of other people wait. Everything else works from the first minute.
What waits for a confirmed email
- Posting. Posts to your feed or a Circle's wall, crossposts, scheduled posts, comments on posts and on sessions, Circle forum threads and replies, and posts on an anime title's page.
- Messaging. Sending a message in a chat, and starting a poll or rolling dice in one.
- Listing. Putting an item or a service up in the Marketplace, and creating or editing your Game Master listing.
What still works
Browsing, and taking a seat: you can find a session and RSVP before you have opened the email. Your settings, the help centre and your support requests also work.

What you see until you do
An attempt to post, message or list answers Confirm your email to post, message or list. and names the address the link went to. An account with no email on it is told to Add and confirm an email address instead.
If the link doesn't work
- It has expired or been used. The log-in page then says We couldn't finish signing you in. and explains that the link may have expired or already been used. Try the link in a newer email if you have one.
- It went to the wrong address. If you can still sign in, open Profile → Security, correct the address under Email and press Update email. A link goes to the new address to confirm it.
- Nothing arrives. Send us a support request from Get in touch. It works without a confirmed email.
