RSVPs & waitlists
How confirmations and waitlists work. RSVPs are unlimited on every account, free included.

Confirmed vs. waitlisted
When you RSVP, you're confirmed if a seat is open. If the session is full you join the waitlist. When someone cancels on a free session, Waypoint Realms automatically promotes the next waitlister into the open seat and notifies them — no need to keep checking. On a paid session the next waitlister is told the seat is open and can buy it.
Maybe
Not sure yet? Choose Maybe. It holds no seat, so it never keeps anyone else out, but you still hear if the host changes or cancels the session, or sends a notice. The host sees how many people said maybe, not who. On a free session you can turn a seat you hold into a maybe, which gives the seat to the waitlist. A paid seat can't be a maybe: cancel it instead, and the host's refund terms apply. If you later decide to go, you join like anyone else, at the back of the waitlist if the session is full.
Who is next
The waitlist is served in the order people joined it, with one exception: a member who has recently missed sessions they held a seat for (two no-shows in the last 90 days) waits behind members who haven't. That mark clears on its own after 90 days and never stops anyone from booking.
Paying never changes your place. No membership tier, credit or payment moves anyone up a waitlist.
No monthly limit
Every account can RSVP to as many sessions as it likes, including a Free account. There used to be a free limit of three a month; it was removed on 28 September 2026, and we have committed that the free allowance never goes down. The only limit is the session's own seat count. See membership plans for what the paid tiers add.
