Already made your comic? The Publishing console takes the finished file and unpacks it into pages readers can read here.
Before you start
- A publishing identity (see Set up your publishing identity) — the same one the Comic Studio uses.
- Your chapter as a .cbz, .cbr, .cbt, .pdf, fixed-layout .epub or a single image — up to 750 MB and 400 pages. Or practise with the sample below.
Sample file: a four-page sample comic to practise uploading (CBZ)Made by Waypoint Realms for this tutorial; free to use.
Create a title and a chapter

In the Comics Realm's rail, choose Publishing console.Create the title
Under New title: the title, URL, synopsis and genres; the Unit, Layout and Reading direction (fixed once set); the Content rating and warnings; and the AI label if it applies. Press Create title.Add a chapter
On the title, under Add a chapter (or an issue…), give it a number and an optional name, and press Add …. Open it.
Upload the file

Describe each page
Write alt text
Under Alt text, describe each page in a sentence or two — the setting, who's there, what happens, in reading order — and press Save.Or start from a draft
Draft empty ones with AI suggests up to 20 at a time. Each is marked as an AI draft — check it against the page, then save it. Nothing is saved until you do.

Mark panels for Guided view
On a paged title, under Guided view, drag on each page to draw its panels in reading order (or Use suggestions, then Order for me), and press Save page. Readers can then go panel by panel. A page without saved panels is never framed.
Make an audio comic
An audio comic is panels and a recording. Each page of a chapter is a panel, and the recording steps through them.
Choose the layout
Under New title, set Layout to Audio comic.Upload the panels
On the chapter, upload your pages as above.Upload the recording
Once the pages are in, drop the recording on the box that asks for it: an .mp3 of up to 300 MB. It's encrypted as soon as it's processed. To swap it later, open Upload a different recording.Set the panel times
Under Panel times, every page has a time, spaced evenly to start with. Play the recording and press Use playhead beside a page, or type a time such as 62.5 or 1:02.5. Leave a time blank to skip that page. Press Save times.

Audio comics play online, in a browser. Readers can't download them, and neither app plays them.
If something's off
- “That file is … MB. The limit is 750 MB…”
- Split it into separate chapters.
- “That looks like a reflowable EPUB…”
- Export it as fixed-layout, or upload a .cbz or .pdf.
- “7z-packed comics (.cb7) aren't supported…”
- Re-pack it as .cbz and upload again.
- “We couldn't process that file”
- Try uploading it again, or as a .cbz.
- “Upload the panels first, then the recording that plays over them.”
- Upload the chapter's pages, wait for Processed, then upload the recording.
- “That recording is over 300 MB…”
- Export it at a lower bitrate, or split the episode.
