Track issues: what you own, what you've read, and the holes in your run

Issue-by-issue tracking happens on a series' page in the Comics Atlas, wherever the Atlas lists its issues.

Before you start

  • A series in your library linked to the Atlas (see part 1).

Mark issues

  1. Open the series in the Atlas

On its library card, press View in Atlas →. Scroll to Issues (…).
  2. Mark one

Press Owned or Read on an issue. Once it's read, star it out of five.
  3. Mark a run at once

Press ⋯ on an issue, then Mark read up to here or Mark owned up to here. It marks every issue from the first up to that one, and never un-marks anything.

Check it worked

The section reads You own … · read … of …, and your library card shows … of … issues read.

Find the holes in your run

Once you own a few, the series reads, for example, Holes in your run: #4, #7–#9 — the issues you don't own between your first and last owned one — and · 3 newer issues you don’t own after that. Take it to your shop.

Record your copies

  1. Open the issue

Press the issue to open its own page. Under Your copies (…), press + Add a copy.
  2. Describe it

The Variant (or Or name it), Printing and Format — Single issue, Trade paperback, Hardcover, Omnibus, Digital or Other.
  3. Grade it (optional)

Graded by — Raw (self-assessed), CGC, CBCS, PGX or Other — with the Grade (0.5 to 10) and Certificate number. Add when you got it and notes.
  4. Save

    Press Save copy.

Check it worked

The copy is listed — Single issue · 2nd printing · CGC 9.8 · cert … — and the issue is marked Owned. Only you can see these.

If something's off

There's no Issues section
The Atlas doesn't list this series' issues yet.
“Grades have one decimal place.”
Type the grade like 9.8, not 9.85.
I removed my only copy but it still says Owned
Removing a copy doesn't un-mark the issue. Press Owned to clear it.
