Import your collection from CLZ or League of Comic Geeks

Bring your collection over as a CSV, see which series matched the Comics Atlas before anything changes, and import — marking issues owned or read without touching what's already there.

Moving from CLZ Comics or League of Comic Geeks? Export your collection as a CSV there, and the importer matches each series to the Comics Atlas.

Before you start

  • A CSV export with a Series (or Title) column, and ideally Issue, Publisher, Read and Owned. Up to 3 MB, 5,000 rows and 400 series.
  • Or practise with the sample below.

Sample file: a small collection export to practise with (CSV)Made by Waypoint Realms for this tutorial; free to use.

  1. Open the import

In your library, press Import a collection.
  2. Choose the file

Under Your exported CSV, choose it. It reads Matching against the Atlas…
  3. Read the preview

… rows read. Found … series in the Atlas; … we couldn’t place. Each matched series lists its issues and how many are read; Couldn’t place says why the rest didn't match.
  4. Choose visibility

Tick Make the imported series public on my shelf if you want them public; otherwise they're private.
  5. Import

    Press Import … series.

Check it worked

It reads Imported. — … series added to your library, … already there; … issues marked. Press Go to your library.

If something's off

“We couldn't find a Series or Title column in that file.”
Rename the series column to Series and try again.
“… — more than one series has that name”
Add the start year in brackets, like Saga (2012), or include a Publisher column.
“… — not in the Atlas yet”
Add that series by hand from your library (see part 1).
“That file is over 3 MB…”
Export fewer series at a time and import each file.
