Grew out of the creative services studio Idea and Design Works. Its catalog is heavily weighted toward licensed properties including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog and Godzilla, alongside original work and archival reprint programs. Publicly traded, with several rounds of restructuring in the 2020s.
