Suggesting to the Cosplay and LARP Atlas
Suggest a new entry or an edit, add your build photos, and see what the curators decided. Adults only.
The Cosplay and LARP Atlas take suggestions from members: a technique that's missing, a fact that's wrong, a photo of your build for a Look. Atlas curators read each one, and nothing reaches the Atlas until one of them accepts it.
Sending a suggestion
Start from the right place
To change an entry, open it and choose Suggest an edit. To add something new, use Suggest an entry on the collection's front page and pick what kind of thing it is.Write what you know
Fill in only what you're changing or adding. If the entry should point at others (the techniques a Look needs, say), name them under What should it link to?: curators make the links.Add photos, if you have them
Up to eight, PNG, JPEG or WebP and 6 MB or less each, with a line describing each one for people using screen readers. Tick that the photos are yours, or that you have permission to share them, and that they show no one who hasn't agreed. Every photo is checked for safety, and waits privately until a curator accepts it. Send within the hour of adding a photo: unsent ones are cleared after that.Choose how you're credited
An accepted suggestion shows Contributed by with your name on the entry. Untick Credit me by name on the entry if it's published if you'd rather not be named.Send it
Choose Send to the curators.
What happens next
Your Atlas suggestions lists everything you've sent and where it is: Waiting for a curator, Accepted, Not added or Withdrawn, with the curator's note. You get a notification, Your Atlas suggestion was reviewed, in the app and by email, when it's decided. While it's still waiting you can withdraw it, and you can have up to 20 waiting at once.
Curators may reword what you sent so it fits the rest of the Atlas. Accepting a new entry doesn't publish it at once: a curator finishes it first. An accepted edit is kept in the entry's history like any other change, so nothing is lost.
Comics and Anime
The Comics and Anime Atlas don't take suggestions this way yet. For those, send a correction request instead.
